As I am sure many sixth form students have, I have just had my A-level mocks, eeek! It was my first experience of that sort of pressure and to say the least, I did not respond all that well to it. However, I devised some strategies that would help me revise and get the best out of these exams, one of them being the music I should revise to!
Not Fun!
Music is a massive influence on how most people concentrate, and I found that when I listened to these, my concentration levels and the effectiveness of my revision went right up. Obviously it will be different for all of you, but these songs stopped me from distraction and helped me to get so much done. I listened to a variety of classical music as if I listen to vocal music, I sing along, get so distracted and end up dancing around the room, not good! It will of course not be to everyone's taste, but it might give you an idea.
Ta ta for now!
