Well well well. Here we are, you and me, together for the first time. There are many ways I have envisioned this moment, but I'll start it by introducing myself. Hi, I'm Alex! A teenage girl from Northamptonshire who has decided that making and hopefully maintaining a blog will add to her already too busy life. Now I'm guessing you are here because:
a. You are procrastinating on the internet, are incredibly bored and have started to look though random blogs.
Or,
b. You know me personally and are here to look, take mental notes and use them to annoy me later.
Whatever reason you came to my humble beginnings, it is very nice to see you.
My thoughts were that if you are reading this blog, you might want something a little interesting to hold your focus and stop you scrolling to the next one. 20 things about me might be a good way to get the ball rolling.
1. I'm naturally brunette, but have had so many 'blonde moments' in my life that I thought it was time to honour that saying, and spent too much money lightening my locks.
2. My high score on flappy bird is 54.
3. I am interested in all things beauty, baking, music and chocolate related.
4. I slipped in M&S whilst buying underwear and ended up in hospital for the night.
5. I have watched Pitch Perfect so many times that I can recount the entire script, backwards.
6. I play the cello and piano, both not very well, and both since I was young.
7. I have been known to make a mug of gravy and drink it like a cup of tea.
8. I LOVE tea. Especially Chai tea.
9. I also love zombie movies, far too much.
10. It annoys me when people breathe loudly.
11. My boobs become a hot topic of conversation a lot, and I never want it to.
12. I study arguably some of the most boring subjects for A level, including Politics.
13. I am the oldest of 4 sisters, 1 of which lives with me and is a little shit.
14. I'm in love with Russell Howard, Jack Whitehall, Lee Evans and Michael McIntyre.
15. I'm wearing underwear with reindeers on them right now. Yes, I am aware it is February.
16. Ben Barnes is my favourite actor, his stubble is wonderful.
17. The Inbetweeners is my feel happy comedy series, purely for Simon's hair.
18. My heels recently got stuck in the mud during torrential rain and wind, whilst wearing a skater dress. I flashed the entire school and got covered in mud. I then had to walk through the rest of the school.
19. If I was to be anybody, I would be Jack Black.
20. I fluctuate between the extremes of male and female stereotypes. I can be found either decorating cakes with flowers or eating pizza, watching an action film and drinking beer.
I hope that didn't bore you or scare you, and you are not judging me too much. If you come back and read my random thoughts again, I will reward you with imaginary chocolate.
